We hang our fish on shelves, where it dries completely naturally by sun, wind and weather. The stockfish can be stored for several years and is built on ancient traditions along the coast.

Norwegian Salmon

Salmon is a highly sought-after product all over the world. The commercial farming of salmon has turned into one of the most important industries in Norway. Salmon is being farmed in the fjords and sheltered bays along the northern and western Norwegian coast.

Salmon farming is a tedious process, and the fish spends about 14-22 months in the sea before harvesting. The scale of operations has made it possible to supply salmon throughout the whole year.

Salmon is a fatty fish that is especially rich in protein, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin A, vitamin B12 and selenium. The red and firm flesh has a mild taste, which makes the fish versatile and well suited for most cooking methods.
